If peace were a thing to hold in your hand,
I'd like it to be tangible, maybe like sand.
We could sprinkle it all over the Earth
From Singapore to other parts of the world.
It would be coloured a bright leafy green
Glistening and shining so that it'll be seen.
It will stop anger, jealousy and tears,
Calm all our spirits, take away fear.
This sand will be pure, airy and light
Carrying messages of hope to every city and town
It will reach all around with the greatest of ease
So let's all spread it before it's too late.
And last but not least, it'll bring happiness and go
All around the globe for everyone to know
That we are glad, we have healed from our pain
We will laugh and smile and giggle again and again.
This is my perfect world, full of bliss, without wars.
If we do our part, this dream will be near, not far.
