Hari Raya Puasa !

A month of fasting before the festival,
An occasion celebrated by Muslims across the world.
A moment to reflect on the past deeds last year
It's a time to forgive those we love dear.

Zakat in Islamic Law reminds us give money, to care,
And help the poor in managing their financial affairs.
We strengthen the bonds between relatives and friends,
Wishing that the time with each other would never end.

Malam Tujoh Likur
Is celebrated with a lavish spread of food.
Note a small oil lamp: when brightly lit,
It adds up to this joyful festive bit by bit.
During this lovely celebration,
We hug each other and forget all their fights.

The vibrant atmosphere and all the lights
Makes this festival a beautiful sight.
And with ketupat, briyani and sarong kebaya,
We wish all Muslims Selemat Hari Raya!
