A Love Story

This is a story about a couple
a couple so madly in love with each other.
A relationship that was possibly fatal.
Yet for the sake of love, they took a gamble.

Shahrukh was handsome yet poor,
But he loved Anita dearly, that he was very sure.
Anita was drop-dead gorgeous, and she had a choice,
Her fiancé or Shahrukh, to suffer or rejoice.

The couple wanted to elope,
But they had very little hope.
Yet their love for each other,
Kept them going and did not make them falter.

Their burning passion for love touched many,
Even Anita's father and fiancé had to agree.
And thus they were given the green light,
The candle of marriage they would soon ignite.
