Ode to Garden Gnomes

Don't underestimate their height.
Don't make fun of their pointy hats.
Let's just spare a thought
For these guys who repels those rats.

Gnomes always have their pride.
Always here by my side
Whether far or near
They'll guard gardens without fear.

However short they may be
They stand tall, basking in glory.
Gnomes may be small in size
But their minds are very very wise.

Gnomes feed our bees
And guard all our trees
Caring for nature just like me
They're the only hope I can see.

So let's return the love
To our gnome angels from above
We shall never forget you
And never make you cry 'Boo hoo!'

So thank you once again
Garden gnomes who became good friends
You'll always be special in our hearts
Hopefully we'll never be apart.
