Green Earth

Our land's been around for billions of years
It's older beyond the number of school days you fear
So we shouldn't let the Earth become a land of waste
Reduce, reuse, recycle - we should practise without haste.

Take the public transport, it emits less carbon and gas.
It saves the ozone layer from damage, plus it's quick and fast.
Use reusable shopping bags to reduce your plastic usage
Otherwise it ends up in a landfill and adds to our garbage

The world was green in the beginning, so don't turn in black
The ozone's there to block the sun, like suntan lotion in a pack.
Let's save the world - if it's manpower we need, there's no lack
It's our willingness and determination that can bring the Earth back.
